Lake Como, Northern Italy

Everything you need to get here

Lake Como is one of the most breathtaking places in the world — we encourage you to make a holiday of it! Here's all the information you'll need to plan your journey.

Venue

Villa Aura del Lago

A historic lakeside villa in Lezzeno on the eastern shore of Lake Como, set within beautiful Italian gardens with sweeping views across the water. The ceremony and reception will both take place on the villa grounds. We'll share more detail on timings, the specific ceremony location within the estate, and transportation between the hotel and the villa as we get closer to the date.

Travel Authorization

EES & ETIAS

Non-EU guests will need to complete two new entry requirements: EES (biometric registration at the border — done on arrival) and ETIAS (a short online application, roughly €7, approved before you travel). We'd recommend applying for ETIAS a few weeks in advance.

Getting Around

Ferries & Water Taxis

The most scenic way to explore Lake Como is by boat. Regular ferries connect all major towns; water taxis can be pre-booked for a more private, flexible option.

Explore Lake Como

We love the idea of guests making a trip of it! Don't miss Villa del Balbianello, the village of Varenna, and a sunset aperitivo in Bellagio's lakeside piazza.

Our Local Guide →

Lake Como in late April is truly magical — expect mild, sunny days around 16–20°C (60–68°F) with longer evenings. The mountains surrounding the lake often still have snow-capped peaks, creating a stunning backdrop. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the evenings by the water.
